Infrared Filters Bring A Surreal Life To Plain Old Landscapes

July 8, 2012

Got a new gadget I never used before in my 20+ years of practicing photography: IR filters or heat-absorbing filters. They are lens filters designed to reflect or block mid-infrared wavelengths while passing visible light.  A few images for my new series “Verboten” will feature serene images with a mix of  fashion & controversy shot through an IR lens.  Enjoy!
